Kaspersky. Pc tools sucks. Norton has the best detection but not by very much and it is a system hog that is annoying as hell to uninstall. so i would go with kaspersky. Kaspersky has hourly updates so that you are always up to date against new threats.

Read the review.
(PcTools Internet Security)
PcTools Internet Security is another great all in one suite that has everything you need to stay safe although not as many features as Comodo this one is a (paid) program but I found a way to get it free legally at this site.

i dont know about kaspersky but i do know that norton run a update daily on threats n does daily virus scans and also corrects any issues immediately from a cookie to a possible virus n corrects the issue n deletes the other
Out of thse 3 I recommend Norton Internet Security 2010 which is what I use and it is very superb.
Why? Because when you have norton on your computer you forget you even have antivirus! Becasue it doesnt bother you until it is suppose to. It will not slow you down and you get the best defense out there.. Their new Sonar protection rocks.
Plus, for the price you get LOTS of features unlike kaspersky and pc tools when you do not even get antiphishing TOOLBAR! Toolbar is not to important but im just proving a point. Norton gives you all the basics plus password protection, log in safe, download security (norton insight).. and lots more. It also updates every few minutes.. not daily!
Do not listen to the Norton bashers, most of them have not used it since symantec took it over and I admit before that they did suck but they are awesome now.

Norton Internet Security 2010 seem quite good to me. I am still evaluating this.
I have tried Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 but did not like it. Annoying and slow updates
PC Tools Internet Security is out. False detection.
Better Detection rates doesn’t mean better. Accurate detection is more important.
You can always download the trial version and test them out yourself. No harm. No risk.
