I’m using AVG Antivirus Free Editon 8.0 but I’m planning to switch to PC Tools Antivirus, Is it worth it?

I currently have AVG Free 8.0 but I really don’t like the LINKSCANNER feature because it only slows down my searches. Right now, I’m planning to switch to PC Tools Antivirus 4.0 Free, will the switch be worth it?

I think AVG is very good. I think you can turn off LinkScanner in the “advance options”.
