I downloaded pc tools long ago. Uninstalled but still get pc tool perf scan pop up every 2 hrs How do I get ri?

I tried control panel uninstall and it won,t uninstall.It is called PC performance Tool kit.

Some traces of the program might still have been present in your computer. You can try restart to check if the program still runs.
If the problem persists even after you restart then use Revo Uninstaller

    It’s probably a fake PC Tool program. Try removing it with Revo Uninstaller. If it doesn’t show up in the list then it really is a fake program and in that case, use Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware to get rid of it. Please google for the links to the two programs. They are also available at the filehippo.com and download.com websites. I’m allergic to giving direct download links as I keep getting suspended by the community. It’s driving me nuts!
